SOYA representatives in Toronto

On Saturday 20th March in Toronto are held the second annual conference of young leaders from the Meeting. There were over 300 participants from all over the world, most successful young people who came hoping to get to know their brothers and sisters with them and share their experiences.
The topics were diverse, from the development of cultural and spiritual leadership, through the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship, leadership skills and personal development in which they participated, and two representatives from Australia.

With the blessing of His Grace and Ana Elias Perać Vujanic in Toronto have traveled to attend this important gathering of Serbian youth. The two were on this occasion represented the newly formed Serbian Orthodox youth organization in Melbourne (SOYA Inc.).

They presented their lecture on Meeting in the Meeting in a part of Personal Development: To live and be successful in the world as a youth. With the two of them, in this segment was also attended by Dr.. Pavle Radovanovic, a young professor at the University of Waterloo, Canada and Danilo Mandic, a doctoral candidate's degree in sociology at Harvard University and a representative of the Organization of Serbian Students Abroad (OSSI).

All in all, it can be said that the conference went very well. The speakers were interesting, the youth had the opportunity to deal with them a chat in a relaxed atmosphere, socializing was provoklasno, created many friendships that will, hopefully, posjpešiti doodling young Serbs in the meeting.

Elijah and Anne was greeted and welcomed brothers and sisters from religious charities Kosovo Testament and prepared a truly memorable experience.
During the four days I spent in Canada, SOYBEAN representatives visited the parish two-Niagara and Oakville, where they had the chance to share their experiences with fellow and participate in the St. Sava School, organized by the Kosovo covenant.

The guest of honour at these lectures was Miroslav Parović, the young leader of the Serbian Parliament Dveri which among other things, about the preservation of Serbian families and on how to win the match. It was truly an honour to hear one so young and bright man, and hopefully we'll have a chance to get it, along with other representative Dveri hear in Australia.
Soy omladinici had the great honour to meet His Grace Bishop Canadian g. George and his invitation to spend a night in the monastery of St.. Transfiguration in Milton.

We take this opportunity to thank His Grace Bishop of Australia and New Zealand g. Irinej to your previous support and we sincerely hope that we have met expectations and contributed to better connect young Serbs in Australia and Canada. Many thanks to our hosts in Kosovo Testament excellent hospitality and organization of our stay in Canada. We sincerely hope that we will be able to repay the hospitality of these wonderful people in the near future.
They wanted to use this opportunity also to draw attention to all members of SOJA's upcoming conference in the Serbian youth-assemblies in the homeland and meeting.

First Vidovdan-28.06.2010 in the Monastery of the Holy Transfiguration, Milton, Canada (organized Kosovo Testament)
Second Youth Leadership Conference-Meeting 15/16.07.2010, Belgrade, Serbia
Third Parliament of the Serbian youth-6/7.08.2010 in Serbia (Serbian Parliament Dveri organizer)
4th Parliament of the Serbian youth in Australia - the end of December 2010 in Melbourne (organizer SOY)

It would be desirable that soy is represented on each of these councils and the more the better. Serbs in Canada were thrilled by Elijah and I have come to participate in the conference and the St. Sava School, which we showed that we all work together towards one goal.
All the best
